Director Mode gives you sliders for Pan, Tilt, Zoom, and Roll. To use it effectively, use small increments. A Zoom value of 2-3 is often enough for a dramatic effect. Combining a slight Pan with a Tilt creates a more natural, hand-held camera feel.
